What made it easy to feel comfortable initially when I first arrived at The Alamo Livingood Center and was doing intake was that everyone on the staff actually speaks to and treats you like the adult you are.

The staff at The Alamo Livingood Center is absolutely one of a kind. They embody everything that you could hope for going into treatment: love, a deep passion to help, understanding hearts, compassion, patience, kindness, guidance, dependability and so much more.

Nobody in my entire life has made me feel more safe, confident in my ability to recover, and like everything was going to be okay than she did (and still does) every single day.

I know that I can talk to her about anything and she will not judge me, make me feel any less about myself, or turn me in the wrong direction no matter what it is I come to her about.

Thanks to my time at The Alamo Livingood Center I’ll be finishing college in 2 years and starting the career of my dreams, with the man of my dreams. I have a future that I’m looking forward to and my past no longer haunts me.
